Ramy Issac’s Childhood Ramy Issac was born in Tiberias, a small town in the northern part of Israel, and grew up in Israel. Tzfat, the town where he born and brought up, was popular for being the “artist colonies”. Ramy Issac was surrounded by many famous artists who went on to become internationally acclaimed for their artwork. During his childhood, he was inspired by these artists and got involved in art and painting. He also had a few exhibitions and earned a few awards for some of his paintings. Ramy Issac also served in the Israeli army for 3 years from 1971 to 1974. Education and qualification Ramy Issac has a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in architecture. He earned his bachelor’s degree in architecture from Technion in Haifa and moved to the United States when he was 27 years old to complete his higher studies. He studied architecture at Pratt University in Brooklyn, NY, and earned a master’s degree. After completing the higher studies, he worked as an architect and project manager at a popular architecture firm, Emory Roth & Sons for almost 7 years. He worked on many nationally-acclaimed projects such as G7 headquarters and 375 Hudson street. After gaining years of experience, he established his own architecture firm, Issac & Stern, and went on to change the face of New York.
